Not even home 24 hours yet, I again jumped in my car and took a 5 hour drive to Peoria to see my grandchildren and help Megan and Andy move into an apartment. They are building a new home and their old home sold quickly so they have to live in this apartment until it is finished, probably late summer. Naturally, their apt. was on the top floor, with no elevator! I felt so bad for those two, climbing those stairs with heavy loads for two days! Moving a family of 5 is not an easy task. Grandma's job was to watch the kids, which I thoroughly enjoyed!
We took Saturday off and went to a soccer game for Kayley and an all day BB tournament for Drew. He played 5 games...a lot for 8 year olds but they seemed to enjoy it. They earned 3rd place and a trophy!
I returned once again to the farm and plan to stay, at least through the first part of June, then all bets are off! Haha! Weather permitting, I have been working outside. I have planted my vegetable garden and flower pots. It was so cold out this morning that I thought they might freeze!
Before I left AZ, sister Sharon came for a visit and we did lots of hiking and visiting her old friends in Scottsdale. Her grandson Taylor stayed with us for two nights and we also went to dinner with his brother Nick. Fun to see them both! Sharon and I took off on a Friday and drove to Jerome, AZ to see her son Aaron and listen to him perform at the Spirit Room. So enjoyable! We spent the night there in a very old hotel and enjoyed it.

I told you our Jerome hotel was old! Blast from my grandma's past! |
I love Jerome and the Spirit Room |
