Drew's mom wasn't thrilled with the pose his dad put him in as grandma shot pictures but I think it is a cute pic anyway. We took the picture REALLY fast. :-) Sox is Megan and Andy's year-old Goldendoodle.....half golden retreiver, half poodle. Sox had been outside running so she was panting pretty heavily and basically rocked Drew to sleep! I will have to remember that trick when I start being Drew's granny nanny. Just kidding, Megan!

I think the boy is so cute, and his dog is also cute! They'll be a great team and it's good for both to grow up together...When does Megan go back to work? Eight wks maternity leave, or more? Are you permanently residing in Phoenix, Marla? I have many questions and no answers. Kiss that little Drew for me--his cheeks look very kissable!
Megan has 12 weeks maternity leave and is officially "off" until April 9 but may start going half days the week before so I will need to be out here then. I am not sure WHEN we are going back to Iowa and then we are coming back to house sit for sister Sharon March 17-31st so my last day in Iowa for quite some time will be around March 15 when we drive back here. Such changes in our lives!! I will kiss Drew for you, probably many times. :-)
Jessi also got 12 wks mat. leave. She will still work from home for a while after that. This sounds really great, but in Norway Moms get 1 yr. paid leave! I should have lived there. Also, I should have gotten my act together and entertained you and Mark as soon as harvest was over. I owe ya one, so think about this during the brief time that you're home. Again, more smooches for Drew...give Mark a couple, too, for old times sake! Susan
